"I only know what James Barrie wrote in Peter Pan," you say, still unable to believe that any of this is real.
"What?" you can hear the frantic edge in his voice. "Tell me how to undo this."
"You have to believe in her," you say.
 "That's it?
"Well," you say slowly, fully aware of how ridiculous this is, " Peter cried out to all the children of Neverland to clap for Tinkerbell."
 "Do it" he commands.
"What?" your jaw drops. He can't be serious!
But he is. "Do it!"
You groan inwardly and begin to call out to any "child" who might hear you, feeling incredibly stupid.
" If you believe," you call trying to recall the words from the musical adaptation of the book, "Oh, please, please, believe! If you believe, then clap. Louder, louder!"
Another amazing thing begins to happen before your eyes. Tatiana's light begins to grow brighter and brighter until you have to shield your eyes from it. The fairy girl leaps up, grinning from ear to ear.
In your ear you hear, "Thank you, children, for believing." It's the angelic voice again.
While Tatiana embraces Michael, you stand there feeling like a fool. You are almost positive that Tatiana is a joke. However, you still want to find Erik.

The three of you continue on through the Opera's basements. Somehow you must find a way into Erik's house. If it exists. And that's a very big if. Tatiana leads you further and further down into the labyrinth and you have to wonder if she really was dying earlier. You're pretty sure it was a joke. Finally, you hear the gurgling of a subterranean lake, but you see nothing.
Under your breath you mutter, "I'll bet the lake doesn't really exist."
"Yes, it does," Michael answers, startling you. "I know for a fact that it's real."
"Here she is," Tatiana announces with a perturbed look on her face.
You look across the lake running through the center of the basement. On the other side of the lake is darkness and you shiver.
You and Michael gaze about properly awed at the sight. Event the columns and arches are done with amazing technique. You wonder if Erik designed them. Then you catch sight a small wooden boat floating silently on the water.
"Well," Michael says. "Do we take it?"
Tatiana frowns. "I'm not sure. For some reason I don't think we should. But I may just be paranoid..." Her voices trails off.
Michael takes a deep breath and closes his eyes. A few moments later he shakes his head and reopens his eyes. "I can't recall that part of the book."
He turns to look at you. "Any ideas?"

If you think you should cross the underground lake, row across to #28.
If think Tatiana should try to remember an other way in, ask her at #29.
