The
fairy girl considers your question, then says. "Yes, follow me."
Once again you set off into the unknown and Michael asks why
you couldn't across the lake.
"It's booby-trapped," Tataina replies, "Erik's siren guards the
lake."
"His siren?"
In the dark Tataina rolls her eyes. "Erik learned how to breath
and talk through a bamboo reed from the Tonkin pirates. He's quite good
at it. It allows him to lure those foolish enough to try to cross the lake
closer to the edge of the boat. From there he grabs them, drags them under
and you can guess the outcome."
You continue on a ways until you hear Tataina command, "Wait
here."
Moment later she returns and lead you through a trapdoor. You
descend the stairs into darkness.
"WELCOME TO MY HUMBLE ABODE!" Erik's voice booms all around you.
Suddenly, lamps light up and you find yourselves standing in the middle
of the room you were in before. "Enjoy your stay," he laughs.
