Erik
is not too pleased that you've chosen Michael and he proves that by locking
you in the torture chamber. You can not see what's going on, but you can
hear.
"What did you just put her in?" Michael asks fiercely. He's not
very happy and he's getting mad.
"You've played me for how many performances?" Erik asks exasperated.
"And you don't know the answer to that? Or are you one of those actors
who just reads the script and calls it good. Never picks up the book?"
"I have read the book," he replies indignantly. "More
than once. But I don't remember. Is it the torture chamber or what ever."
"Ding, ding, ding! One question answered correctly! Ladies and
gentlemen, he's on a roll."
Michael glares at him. He doesn't find Erik's sarcasm very funny.
"Let her out now!" Michael says, forgetting Erik's earlier warning
about the penalty box.
Erik stretches lazily and yawns. "I do find it amusing that you still
think you have some authority here."
"Erik, is there any point to this charade?" Tatiana asks.
"Why can't I get rid of you?" Erik hisses. "You're a bad penny.
You know that."
"And I'm going to keep turning up until you quit this!" she shoots
back.
"You're no fun!" he declares and rushes at her. Holding her up
side down and causing gold dust to spray all over, he hauls her, kicking
and screeching, over to an open door and tosses her in. Slamming the door
with finality, he locks it. The fairy girl pounds and kicks at the door
until she wears herself out.
That's all you can hear. You have no idea what's happening. Things
are too quite. Your mind begins to imagine all sorts of bad scenarios.
An hour passes slowly by and finally you hear Michael again.
"Will you trust me?"
There's a long pause.
"Yes." It's Erik.
"Good," Michael sounds pleased with himself. "But we'll have
to hurry if things are to work out."
The next thing you know, Erik is releasing you, while Michael
carries a sleeping Tatiana out of the Louise-Phillipe room.
What going on?
